Dear members and friends of Sweden,

We would like to inform you about the Austrian-Swedish Innovation Exchange Day which will be hosted tomorrow 24 November by the Embassy of Sweden in Vienna.

The purpose of this virtual event is to initiate and enhance high-technology research and development projects between Austrian and Swedish corporations, start-ups and industrial organizations.

Over 30 large multinational corporations, start-ups, institutions, organizations and ministries from Austria and Sweden are participating in this event, which is the first of its kind between the two countries.

 Keynote speakers are Minister for Digital and Economic Affairs, Mrs. Margarete Schramböck, and Minister for Business, Industry and Innovation, Mr. Ibrahim Baylan. The Swedish Ambassador to Austria, Mikaela Kumlin Granit, will open the session.

 President of WKÖ, Mr. Harald Mahrer, and Swedish industrialist Mr. Marcus Wallenberg will discuss the need for increased green funding and other factors enabling successful cooperation in innovation between Austria and Sweden. The Swedish State secretary for Foreign Trade, Mr. Krister Nilsson, will open this session.
